St. Patty's Day!

Saturday, the last day of Spring Break was the 17th - St. Patty's Day!
We began our day with a fun breakfast of Lucky Charms and "green" milk! Drinking from green straws of course! :) Fun start to a fun day!

After breakfast we had to go over to Shawn's baseball game. This is the first season he's played baseball and it's been fun for him to play, and fun for us to watch him!

When we got home from his game we had another fun "green" meal! We had turkey & cheese sandwiches with green chips and green lemonade!! It was a fast lunch because we wanted to head over to the Renaissance Festival!
We love the Renaissance Festival and go almost every year (well, for the last 3 years since we found out about it!) It is so much fun. A little more geared towards adults, but we always find fun things for the kids to do as well. :) Here they got ahold of some hula hoops and had a go at it! Brady was really good!

Connor being cute and just chilling out while brothers played
This is our kids favorite part - the Castle (Dragon) Slide!!! And Connor was tall enough to go down it this year! Yay! They have to climb up this huge tower...

And then they get to slide down! Here is Shawn (above) and Connor (below) coming out at the bottom.
(They have them wear little booties over their shoes so that the slide doesn't get so dirty from all the people going down all day long.

And here's Brady!
After a fun day at the Renaissance Festival we came home and had a fun "green" St. Patty's Day dinner!!! We had Green Salad and Green Jell-o (with cool whip on top!)...
... We also had a fruit rainbow with a marshmallow cloud and a "pot of gold" at the end!
With it we had chicken and cheese quesadillas as well as (green) sprite to drink!

It was fun and the kids LOVED it!!!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!
And happy end of Spring Break! We sure did have a lot of fun!!!!
