Sunday April 8th was Easter! We actually were just in the middle of purchasing a new house at this point {more about that in later posts!} and so money was pretty tight so we kept it simple this year, but it was still so much fun! Simple is sometimes better! :)
Here are the boys sitting at the top of the stairs waiting to come down and see what the Easter Bunny brought them.
They had fun digging through their buckets and seeing what they got!
The Easter Bunny always hides extra candy around the house (room) and the kids have to go around and look for it - then they put it all in a big bowl and divide it up between them at the end. This is one of their favorite parts of the morning!
The boys each got a stuffed "peep" in their buckets - kind of a fun rendition of the candy peeps! Here they are below in front of the candy version.
The boys always get at least a new shirt (sometimes a new outfit) and each year they get a different matching "color". This year the color was orange!

And as always the photo shoot ends in wrestling each other to the ground! :) Boys will be boys I guess!!
