At the beginning of January one Saturday we last minute decided to go to Rawhide with our kids. It was SO much fun! We had never been before and it was actually a lot cooler than I thought it was going to be. :)
Here are the kiddos posing with their free cowboy hats they got as we entered the old west town.
While there we ate at the steakhouse restaurant. It was so yummy!!! The kids sure were having fun!

There were all sorts of activities to do there.

And we also got to ride a train around while they told us things about living in an old west town. We also got to ride an old stage coach, but we didn't get any pictures of that.
Another fun thing we tried was climbing the rock wall. Not exactly something they did in the old west, but fun all the same! :)

And they even talked mom into trying it out. (okay, not much to talk me into it - I'd never done it before in my life and wanted to try it out!)

They also had a petting zoo there that the kids enjoyed - as long as the pigs weren't running wildly around. And they were most of the time! haha

On the way out Mike and the boys were able to talk me into riding the mechanical bull they had at the entrance. Aren't I so cute all ready to ride the bull?! :) haha! {I wasn't very good at it either!}
We sure had a lot of fun! Of course, we always have fun hanging out together as a family no matter what we are doing! Love my family!!!
