First Day of School!!!

The week before school started all the kids had a back to school night where they got to go and meet their teachers, find their classrooms, etc. Here is a picture of Connor when we got home from his. He will be in Preschool this year and is so excited! Hos teacher had a cute Olympics theme for their back to school night so here is Connor with his completed Olympic Rings and his cookie Gold Medal!

The first day of school for Shawn and Brady was Monday, August 6th. They were so excited to be going back to school! And, as always, we got some pictures of them with their new clothes and backpacks.

Shawn is going to be in 5th grade this year!!! (He is actually in a 5/6 split class)

This wasn't Connor's first day of school...but he couldn't be left out of the fun!

Brady is in 2nd grade this year! He has the same teacher that Shawn had in second grade and we loved her so we are very excited to have her again!

They had a great first day of school which means they are even more excited about the school year! It's nice that they still love school so much! Hopefully that stays with them over the years!!

Wednesday, August 8, was Connor's first day of Preschool! He was SOOO excited he could hardly stand it!!! Here he is posing for the camera... he loves getting his picture taken if you couldn't already tell!

He's such a silly kid! We love it!!!

Here he is with his special preschool bookbag that he gets to take to school everyday to bring his things home in. His teacher made them for all the students! So cute!!

And he also wanted his picture taken with his other backpack that we bought him (before we knew she was giving them one!) He's excited to be able to use it for other things (trips and stuff) as well as probably for Kindergarten next year! :)

Connor LOVED his first day of school! He tells me every day how much he loves his teacher and his school! That first day he ran right in - no problems or issues leaving mom or anything! That made me happy and excited for him! He is so ready for school!!! 

I will admit that after I went home I had a few tears in my eyes thinking that now ALL of my boys are in school. Thank goodness they start them in Preschool and then Kindergarten where they're only gone for a few hours a day at first. Gotta get mom used to not having her kids home with her all day every day!! :) I am excited for them and their adventures in school and learning, but it kind of is hard for a mom to know her kids are all growing up so quickly!!!
