Sledding with Cousins

On Saturday December 27th, we took the boys sledding with their cousins Jaricka and Cade McDougal (Mike's brother Jared's kids). We went on a hill at a park by Jared and Michelle's house. It was a blast! It was windy and cold so Michelle and I stayed in our cars with the babies. So I do apologize in advance that most of these pictures aren't that great - mostly of people's backsides! It was the best I could do out the window of the car! The first is of Mike and Brady walking up the hill after sledding down.

Brady and Jaricka went down off of the little jump. They flew up so high! Problem with that was when they landed Jaricka got hurt. Not bad, just landed hard. Brady said: "I'm sorry you got hurt, but that was so much fun!" :) This is Brady and Jaricka with Jared and Mike after they landed.


And here is Shawn and Brady walking back towards the other side of the hill. Don't you love their snow clothes? (Notice Shawn's rain golashes as boots!) We have none since we live in Arizona, so we scrounged up what we could find (coats, gloves, etc.) from other people and what my mom could find at kid-to-kid that was cheap since it was only for a couple days use! They may have looked a little funny, but it kept them warm and they had a blast!!!
