Happy New Year!!!

I have to apologize for the complete "post overload" this last day or two. When you go on vacation for a week and a half over Christmastime there is just so much! And I had to wait until I was home with my computer to do any of it! But here you go!

New Year's Eve was a lot of fun! As well as regular "New Years Eve" it is also my dad's birthday!!! So we had a birthday party as well as a New Years party! This is how we were invited up to dinner:

Shawn and Jenna are the reindeer (notice the hoofs and the noses - Shawn's obviously red for rudolph!). Brady was Santa Claus holding on the reigns (or jump rope in this case) with his hat, belt, black boots, and even a bag full of toys! Aren't they so creative?!

After our big dinner it was time for my dad to open his presents! Of course, sweet litle Brady just had to help!!

Then onto the birthday cake and ice cream! Here is Brady, Shawn and Jenna in front of the cake.

And the birthday boy "Grandpa Dave" with Brady and Shawn.

After the "Birthday Party" it was time to move onto the "New Years Party"! We hung out, played games, and ate a lot of junk! Here is my mom and Connor.

Derek and Connor.

Mike and my Grandpa Dayley.

Then is was time for the count down to the New Year! Here is the kids all ready with their "blowers" for midnight! (Yes, my kids actually made it all the way until midnight!)

This is Joshua and Michelle at midnight!

And my Grandma and Grandpa Dayley at midnight!

And my Aunt Laura and Connor at midnight!

And last of all, Emily and Mike at midnight!

We had a lot of fun playing games and hanging out with the fmaily! We even did some fireworks at midnight (The "up in the sky" kind! Mike and I bought them at an Indian Reservation between Vegas and Salt Lake on our drive up.) It was so much fun! But alas, then it was off to bed (at about 1:00 am) because we had to leave early the next morning (7:00 am) for our 13 hour drive back to Phoenix! Happy New Year everyone! Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season!
