Spring Break in Vegas!

On St. Patrick's Day we drove to Las Vegas for some Spring Break fun! That night we walked around Downtown/Freemont Street and watched the "Show in the Sky". It was a lot of fun. The kids loved dancing around to the music! Connor was so tired, but was still very good to hang out in the stroller!

The next morning (18th) we got up, went for a walk, had some breakfast, then went to the pool for a while! (We had stayed downtown at the Golden Nugget and they have a pool with a waterslide going right through the middle of a shark tank!) It wasn't too warm in the morning, so we didn't last too long at the pool. We checked out there and moved on to some other fun. We played games at the Circus Circus - the midway games there our the kids fav and they come home with a jackpot load of stuffed animals from our wins there! :) We then went and checked into our next hotel: Caesars Palace! Now, this is a very expensive hotel, but we were lucky enough to get a killer deal of only $79 for the night! (Usually at least a few hundred dollars a night!) So we were excited about that! After checking in we walked around the shops there a bit. Here are the kids in front of the aquarium (although you can't see it in the background.)


Caesars Palace is just amazing! The decor from the marble walls and floors and pillars to all the marble statues and painted ceilings that make you feel like you are right in Rome! Above and below are just a few pics of the beautiful shops, ect. In one area is a circle of statues that move and talk (they do a show every hour). It's pretty cool and the kids loved it.

And here are the kids playing in the hotel room. Connor was so excited to be out of his stroller crawling around all over the floor to play! Shawn and Brady's favorite part was this giant window sill. They would close the curtains and play behind them on the sill like it was their special house/room! They had a blast!

The next day (19th) we did a bunch more sight-seeing before driving home. We of course went to the M&M Factory - a favorite of the kids - and the Coca-Cola place. We also went and played some games at the Excalibur and walked through the Luxor. Here are a couple pics of the kids at the Luxor. Brady loved this one! He told us all about "The Great Sphinx" and "Heirogliphics" (knowlegde of those words and facts about them courtesy of his favorite show "The Little Einsteins"! It was so cute!) And he said that this "new" Sphinx was a lot prettier than the one in Egypt (since it has color on it). He crackes me up! :)

All in all we had a lot of fun! We were very worn out after three days of so much walking, but we had a great time! Yeah for Spring Break!!!
