Apache Trail

So I don't have very good pictures of this, but we had so much fun I just had to put it on here anyway. Mike's parents came down last weekend and we decided on Saturday to go for a drive. We had heard about the "Apache Trail" and thought it sounded like fun to drive and sightsee, so off we went! (We are not from AZ so this is all new to us!) First stop was the old "Ghost Town/Mine Town" of Goldfield. It was fun to see and learn more about this part of AZ. Here is a picture of Grandpa with the boys on the train tour we went on.

Again, sorry the pics are bad! The next one is Brady on the train.

And here are the beautiful Superstition Mountains!

And the Supertitions with Goldfield below.

That weekend was some sort of town days/parade of some sorts in Apache Junction and so they were housing the Budwiser Clidesdales there at Goldfield. They are such beautiful horses!

That is all the pictures I took. (Forgot to get my camera out at the other places!) We did finish the drive along the Apache Trail and it was so beautiful! The lakes were gorgeous and we had a fun time eating at Tortilla Flats! Thanks Mom and Dad McDougal for a fun time!
