Thursday July 21, 2011 was the wedding of
(my brother) Steven Jefferson Reid
and Iveth Marianela Estupinan Bustamante
They were married in the afternoon in the Salt Lake Temple. It was such a beautiful ceremony! They were able to get a sealer that spoke Spanish (since Marianela doesn't speak English) and so he was able to do the ceremony in English and Spanish. {He would say things first in Spanish, then repeat it in English}. It was really cool!!! And they actually got to get married twice (so to speak) because he married them first in Spanish, had them kiss and everything, then did it all again in English! My favorite part was after he did it the second time he said, "Now you can kiss in English!" It was so funny! :)
But the ceremony was wonderful, as marriages in the temple always are, and then it was time for them to come out and see everyone that was waiting for them! And here they are for the first time...

And of course an important part was her son, Steven David, running up to them when they came out for hugs and kisses - big changes for that cute little boy!!

The boys were all funny - they all loved exploring the walls/windows of the temple. They were so cute peeking at everything together!

Our boys couldn't help but to climb into those awesome turrets in the temple! They thought that was pretty cool stuff! Then they started sliding down the granite railings - we had to nip that one in the bud pretty quick! It is the temple after all! :) Boys will be boys I guess!
It was such a wonderful wedding! After picture taking we all went to the Olive Garden in downtown Salt Lake for the wedding luncheon - they had a room off to the side to fit all 50-something of us that were there! It was so yummy and fun! Then it was off to home to get everything set up (most done the night before, but odds and ends to finish up) for the reception.
