It was so neat to be able to walk through the temple with our kids and explain to them some of the different things that happen in the temple. It was a gorgeous temple! Such a neat experience to share with our kids and my family!7.16.2009
Oquirrh Mountain Temple
On Monday, July 6th we had quite a busy day. First, we started out getting Mcdougal family pictures taken. I think they turned out really good (I will post when I actually get them). Then, we went to lunch at Cafe Rio - yum! And then off to the water park (Cowabunga) with some of Mike's brothers and sisters. So much fun! After a couple hours of that we hurried back to McDougal's house to change our clothes and then off to meet my family at the Oquirrh Mountain Temple Open House! Here is a picture of our family in front of the temple. (Actually, we were behind it not in front of it). Our old house we sold to move to AZ is off the same street as this temple - we could have walked to the temple in less than 5 minutes! South Jordan is now the only city in the entire world that has 2 temples in it! How crazy is that?!
